Let me introduce you to the Creative Difference, an educational enrichment program, focusing on out-of school opportunities for children to broaden their learning experience through hands-on and creative activities. The Creative Difference hosts camps during the summer, school holidays, after school and for parents night out. Their programs are designed to inspire children in creative thinking, problem solving, self-direction, discovery, higher-order thinking skills, and the courage to create something different!
The founder, J. Jaye Steen, is hoping to raise awareness for her summer camps this summer and is hosting a giveaway for a free week of camp! AWESOME!!
So how can you win a free week of camp? Just enter below!

Congrats Sarah! Check your inbox. Enjoy your milk and let us know how you like it!
Stay tuned for December’s giveaway!
Did you know there are people that exist out there that hate milk? I know, right?! Who are these weirdos? Okay, I am one of those weirdos. Yes, I do not like milk. I only like it in my cereal or with chocolate in it. Which is why I love that Smart Balance has a chocolate milk in their new kids line. It is SO yummy! I bought it for myself, but of course my husband has been sneaking glasses. Molly won’t drink anything other than milk or water, so trying to get her to drink chocolate milk is pretty much impossible. More for me!
I’m doing another Smart Balance giveaway because this week is all about GIVING!! And thanking you, my readers, for sticking by me! I love you people.
Enter to win a voucher for a free carton of your choice of Smart Balance Kids Milk! Giveaway ends at midnight on 11/26.
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Smart Balance® Kids. All opinions are my own.
Man, oh man is it hard to figure out a time to blog when you have two kids. If I’m not feeding Burke, I’m tending to Molly and when she’s napping I’m napping or working or doing something for myself! My amazing mother-in-law leaves this weekend and I don’t know how I’m going to do everything without her. The second I sit down to feed Burke it seems as though Molly needs something — milk, toast, bar, etc. Typical!
Well, speaking of milk… Smart Balance reached out to me about their new Kids Milk line. They have three different kinds of milk and I can’t wait to try them out, especially because there are NO artificial growth hormones. Here is some info on the milk:
VARIETIES:
12-24 months: Smart Balance® Kids Transitions Whole Milk & Nutrient Blend (red carton)
Many pediatricians recommend whole milk as children transition from formula or breast milk to regular milk. Smart Balance Transitions delivers all the goodness of whole milk, and select nutrients for a strong nutritional foundation during this critical period of development. Two glasses a day deliver:
Kids 2+: Smart Balance® Kids Reduced Fat Milk & Nutrient Blend (Blue carton)
For active growing kids. Many pediatricians recommend that children switch from whole milk to reduced fat milk after 2 years of age. Regular 2% milk is part of a well balanced diet.
Kids 2+: Smart Balance® Kids Chocolate Low Fat Milk & Nutrient Blend (Brown carton)
Delivers all the goodness of regular milk, and select nutrients for active, growing kids…..in a taste kids love. Made with 1% milk.
(Nutritional benefits the same as Reduced Fat)
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 3 KIDS MILKS:
Hey peoples! I’ll be back to blogging next week and I have something awesome to share with you. I’ll be introducing a new series/giveaway. Here’s your hint:
YUM!!!!!!!
Tune in next week!
Did everyone have a great Mother’s Day? Mine was wonderful! We spent the day at the National Zoo. We hadn’t been since Molly was around 5 months old so it was really fun to take her at 18 months and show her all the animals that we read about in her books. But, let me tell you, I’m glad we went before I get super preg, because by the end of our trip I was totally exhausted and I swore my legs were going to fall off. We parked at my sister’s complex by the National Cathedral and walked the 1.5 miles to the zoo. Add 3 hours of walking around the zoo and then the 1.5 miles back (uphill mind you)… yeah, I didn’t move from the couch the rest of the night!
In the spirit of Mother’s Day, I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway! I couldn’t live with out the What to Expect When You’re Expecting book when I was pregnant with Molly and now I find myself browsing through it yet again! Did you know the series contiues? Yep! I have What to Expect the First Year and What to Expect the Second Year and I have found these books SO helpful.
I’m teaming up with WhatToExpect.com and you can win the first three books in the series! I will pick a winner next Monday so be sure to enter below. All I need is a comment, but the more entries you do, the bigger your chances of winning!
The winner is Karen Lecrone Phillips! Congrats Karen. I will be reaching out to you shortly!
