Did everyone have a great 4th? Mine was very low key since it was SO hot. I don’t last long outside so Molly and I are finding new things to get into in this small condo. Only 2.5 weeks left here! Oh wait, I didn’t update you on that did I? We officially rented out our condo and we found a townhouse! YAY! More room for our growing family!
I’m super excited to get in there and start decorating. Of course, we’ll be renting, so no big projects like painting. Thankfully, the family that owns the townhouse has similar taste to ours and we love all the paint colors! Phew! I saw some hideously painted rooms while house hunting… like bright orange kitchens… gah! I don’t care if our housing is temporary, I could not live with that for a year.
I’m already creating to-do lists on Remember the Milk. Have you used this site? I found them while making a million to-do lists for my wedding and I haven’t stopped since! They don’t even know I’m posting about them, I just love making lists, but hate having papers laying around so I wanted to share with you all!
So.. the boy… he has a name, but we don’t share our baby names until they are born so you will have to wait until October to find out his name. Sorry! We have decided to go with a whale theme for his nursery. Now I can’t stop pinning whale things on Pinterest. Obviously, I don’t want to go overboard, but I am having a hard time choosing where I want the whales to “live”… crib sheets? wall hangings? decor? It’s so hard to decide! Look at all these cute whales!
Pinterest can be a bad thing! I find myself really really wanting to sew and craft these days, but I need to be packing things up, not making creative clutter! So I’m trying very hard to be patient and tell myself that in a few short weeks I can create, sew and craft to my heart’s content. I guess this is my way of nesting since I hate cleaning.
Okay, off to do some packing… and eating.

Oh boy so exciting!!! I was in the middle of a move shortly after our last little guy was born and it was crazy the mix of nesting and having to pack and move, but not being able to set up anything for him. Hormones are crazy!
that whale stuff is adorable.
I love lists–thanks for the site. I also love the whale idea for a boy room. Too cute.
PS. I tagged you in my Fabulous Blog Ribbon post–hope you can join
Enjoy the “cooler” temps this week!
The whale sheets are my favorite of all the whale things, then probably the shoes next
I did the same with my son, we didn’t reveal his name until he was born. I’m so happy that I did it that way and I will always do it:)
